The journey began in December 2020, when Dr. Yaoz Y. Sever arrived in Dubai on one of the first commercial flights between Israel and the United Arab Emirates following the Abraham Accords.
What started as a historic visit soon became a long-term commitment.
Drawn by the country’s vision, professionalism and extraordinary pace of development, he returned to Dubai again and again, month after month, gradually building trusted relationships across government, business and investment circles.
As those relationships deepened, AGC was born.
The true story of AGC was not written in conference halls or exhibition centers. It was written in Majlis gatherings, private meeting rooms, executive boardrooms and countless face-to-face conversations where trust is earned long before business is discussed.
Through patience, consistency and genuine respect for Emirati culture, lasting relationships were built with government officials, business leaders, investors and influential decision-makers throughout the region.
Over time, Dubai became more than a destination.
It became a second professional home.
Understanding culture before negotiations.
Building trust before transactions.
Creating relationships before opportunities.
Today, together with Chief Advisor Amos Lavi, AGC helps governments, investors and innovative companies navigate international markets by applying those same principles of trust, discretion and long-term partnership.
Having served as Chairman of the Israel–GCC Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Sever has shared these experiences through executive lectures and business forums, helping organizations understand that success in the Gulf is built not only on strategy, but on cultural understanding, credibility and genuine relationships.
For AGC, business has never been about closing the next deal.
It has always been about building the next trusted relationship.
